Larry Jim's Christmas
I was going through the bookshelves and found a book of poetry written by Dad's grandmother, Gladys Close Buchner. Inside, I found the following poem, which I put with an early picture of my father with his mother, Lometa. If you find the text a bit hard to read, just click on the picture... it will enlarge.

Thank You
For all who attended the picnic, thank you so much for coming. We had a great turnout... somewhere between 30 and 40 people. It's so good to know that Dad was such an important part of so many people's lives. I think he would have been very happy today.

Whether you are planning to attend the memorial or not, we would very much like to hear about your memories of our Dad. Please write them down and bring them, post as a comment, or email them to us... pictures too!
