OMG! That's just sad. My Dad, stayed in contact with him for along time after my Dad left Smithson Valley. When my Dad left, and I stayed the Sparks family always had a good watchful eye over me the second half of my Junior Jr. and all of my senior year. I really always held a special place in my heart for that man and his wife.

Oh, and if you didn't understand what I was saying above. This is Becky Sims. Of couse you all know my Dad Jim Sims. Principle until the middle of our junior year. Mr. Sparks was an awesome man, and actually lived just a couple blocks down from me in Canyon Lake Hills. He was one of those teachers that did make a mark in my heart in my high school years. Especially after my Dad left and I made the decision to stay and finish even knowing there will be those to give me hell, and I would have to deal with all the rumors and critisim that had to do with my Dad. Between him and his wife they helped me through it.

I am a better person to this day because of that situation and Mr. and Mrs. Sparks helped me through it all...

My prayers are with the whole family.

Robert if you get this please do not hesitate to call me...
